Dear Friends and Family,
Bruce Fong went home to be with Jesus Friday afternoon, January 8th, 2022. We (his wife Yvonne, six kids and four grandkids) were privileged to surround him as he took his final breaths. We are deeply saddened as we feel his absence on earth but we rejoice in knowing he is no longer suffering and in the presence of our Lord and Savior (and playing with his long lost Lhasa Apso, Dusty). Thank you all for your love, encouragement and generosity over the years but especially this past year. He can’t wait to rendezvous with everyone in heaven.
Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
Much love from Bruce’s family

Yvonne, You and Bruce connected with our family personally when you staycationed at my son’s Robbie’s house while he was working in Japan. Both of you prayed for Robbie and his return to Houston. Robbie was transferred back to Houston in May 2021. I will never forget how much it meant to know that Bruce responded from a father’s heart and was carrying our son in his prayers. I will miss my friend and co-laborer in Christ. I share Bruce’s dreams for the women students and graduates of Dallas Theological Seminary and will forever remember our conversations. I pray God will let Bruce see from heaven that what he invested in so many will continue to pour out of us into the world!!

Bruce definitely heard Jesus welcome him into paradise with the words we all long to hear, “Well done good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.” His ministry has blessed me and his messages still do as I have some on CD and other media. I’ll continue to keep you all lifted up. 🙏✝️♥️

So very sad for this news!
So very glad we’ll have a nice chat later on.
So very grateful that a common friend brought Dr. Fong into my life.
Blessings to his family and many, many friends.
I won’t say “Goodbye” but, “See you later”.

We attend Cornerstone Community Bible Church in Richmond, TX and Bruce has been our guest preacher many times. He would set up a display of his books after the service. I just loved his humor and story telling. He had a zest for life and the outdoors! I was totally unaware of his change in health and am devastated by the news of his passing! May the Peace Of God be with you all !

May you all know peace and joy in your memories of your husband, father and grandfather. He was one-of-a-kind. We remember with fondness and appreciation our CBC years with you. Praying for your journey forward.

May Psalms 116:15 bring you much comfort. We enjoyed our time with Bruce and Yvonne on the 2014 Israel tour with Charles Swindoll. Bruce’s teaching enhanced our experience of visiting the Holy Land significantly. You are in our prayers. Jim and Cindy Montgomery
